Important Notice:No border controls to the Czech Republic |
| Many new exhibitors and visitors of our International Trade Fair Collector (Sberatel) are asking about the border procedure when entering the Czech Republic by plane or car. Please, take knowledge of absence of border. The borders of the Czech Republic are not subject to any passport or customs controls. Thus, the Czech border can be easily crossed without stopping just as is the case with the border between Germany and Austria or France and Belgium. Since 27 December, 2007, the Czech Republic has been a member state of the Schengen Area, where all border controls have been cancelled. This is one of the reasons why organisers expect higher numbers of foreign visitors and dealers to the Collector fair. |
Dear exhibitors and visitors, dear collectors,
A month after the last successful year of the fair Collector, which was held in 2008 simultaneously with the World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA, the exhibition hall at the Fairgrounds in Prague- Holešovice burned down. The very one in which we regularly organised our trade fair.
Unfortunately, it will take several years for the hall to be rebuilt, so we sought and have found a brand new location for our event.
This year, the Collector trade fair will take place at the new PVA Letňany exhibition grounds in the north of Prague. This has several advantages:
- Metro line C connection
- By the highway D8 (A17) from Dresden
- 4, 500 parking places
- Equal placement of exhibitors in the modern hall
- Large restaurants available
There will also be a substantial change in the date. The trade fair will take place in the first week of September from Thursday to Saturday, i.e. from 3rd to 5th September 2009.
Once again, we hope to welcome over 200 exhibitors from 40 countries (which has always been the case in recent years) and over 12,000 buying visitors to Prague this year.
In the first week of September, the City of Prague will become the capital city of collectors once more.
